Vegan Cuts: May Beauty Box Unbox & Review

I am always looking forward to weekdays because that's when parcels are being delivered! I have been receiving a lot of packages the past few weeks but the excitement never dies down and I still can't wait for the postman to come for the day so I can check the mailbox :D

Just look at the package from Vegan Cuts I recently received in the mail! I quickly ran back home to open it because the box looks too cute! This is their May beauty box. They offer both vegan beauty and snack boxes. Let's take a look at what's in that cute little beauty box!

When I opened the box, these are what I saw. Except the Medusa's Makeup was in a bubble wrap to protect it while in transit and the small white container on the left was in a ziploc. I took them off for a nicer photo hehe.

In the box, there will be a product card with one side showing photos of the products you get. Some of the photos on the card show the full sized products instead of the sample sized ones I received
.

On the opposite side of the card, it describes the products, also stating the value and the independent brand's Instagram and/or Twitter account. Shown on the bottom are the brands featured in that month's box.

Everclēn Facial Toner, 4 fl. oz, RTP USD 15
"Full sized fragrance-free hydrating facial toner for sensitive skin
that will keep you feeling fresh and radiant."

I was excited for a moment when it mentioned fragrance free. Call me weird but I really cannot stand facial products (especially liquid foundation) with fragrance. It is unnecessary chemicals, unless they use natural fragrance, that reminds me something harmful is covering the whole of my face because I can smell it. And whenever there's a smell, it just makes the product feel thicker on my face haha. Might be a psychological thing I don't know.

Anyway, this product did have a mild fragrance (? or was it just a smell) to it and I'm quite sure it is because the ingredients used to make the product to serve it's purpose must have some scent/odour of their own. I will still use it because I love face mists. It's so easy to 'apply'. Just spray on and if you're not too lazy, pat it into your skin and that's it.

I think this was the most worthy product in this month's box! Considering the retail price is 34 (I have checked their brand's site) and it was really soft and non scratchy at all. What's best is it's made of 100% cruelty free Synthetic hair. I can use this with the Medusa bronzer I got!

On the opposite side of the card shown in the picture above, there is also a discount code VEGANCUTS for 50% off an entire purchase from Terre Mère. W.O.W. 50%, that's a generous discount! Discount code will expire on the 30th of June, 2016.

The Granola Goat Amazing Face Serum, est. 150 drops, value USD 4
"Unique face serum of red raspberry seed oil and sea buckthorn berry oil
create a nourishing blend for the skin."

This is a sample sized product in the box. The serum feels promising! At USD 24 for the full sized, it is priced competitively compared to better known brands but the quality of product is the same or maybe better!

On the opposite side of the card, just like for Terre Mère, discount code VEGANCUTS on The Granola Goat gives you 10% off any order. No expiry date for the discount code.

"Special surprise of either bold blush, striking lip gloss or warm bronzer."

So anyone could have gotten either of the mentioned products in the box and I got the bronzer!
Just what I needed! I have yet to try it but it looks really good. Can't wait to try it!

Molly Rose Balms Grapefruit Basil Body Scrub, 1-2 arms worth, value USD 2
"Exfoliating body scrub with an earthy basil and zesty grapefruit combo for that squeaky clean feeling."

I have not tried this but it smells really nice and fresh. I bet it feels great as well! Too bad it's sample sized and really small, probably only enough for 1 or 2 arms, depending on how you use it. The full sized product costs USD 10 on their site. Use discount code VEGANBEAUTY to receive 20% off any orders above $20! Discount code expires on the 31 of August, 2016.

  6. Interesting bunch of products with unique names. The Medusa makeup intrigued me, so I scrolled over to look at that first. Is that a sample size only for this bronzer? I think calling face serum as Goat is not a good idea though.

  10. Is Vegan Cuts Beauty Box new? I haven't heard of it before or maybe I am not just into US' beauty box businesses? But anyway, they got awesome picks on their box! We've got PH version of it, I just haven't decided joining yet. Well hopefully if ever I have enough time for myself. lol
